Anderson Pine is an engineering services firm founded in 2016 by Charles Anderson, a registered professional engineer with 15 years of experience designing large water conveyance systems, analyzing and designing levees and developing ground-mount solar power plants. The firm focuses on three major infrastructure markets: utility-scale solar, land development and water resources infrastructure. The majority of the firm’s business is currently in utility-scale solar development services.
The company’s goal was to obtain capital and contracting expertise to grow its business by bringing on up to seven new utility-scale solar customers in the next 12 months. The loan was needed to provide funds for working capital, hiring and marketing.
Charles Anderson contacted the Alameda County SBDC and worked with Suzanne Schafer and Lee Lambert to develop a business plan and financial projections to support a loan proposal. He also worked with Ed Duarte who provided expertise in contracting and pricing. Charles then worked with Ron Barrett who introduced him to Fremont Bank and worked with Charles to develop additional supporting information requested by the lender.
Fremont Bank provided Anderson Pine with a term loan at the amount and terms anticipated. The Company expects to report results within six months.
